Nizār bin Hāshim As-Sūdānī published an article in which he warns against the Salafī Mas͟hāyik͟h and students of knowledge in Aden and classifies them as advocates of innovation! Among what he said: “…everyone must be extremely cautious of them and stay away from them and their gatherings, for they are advocates of discord, ignorance, innovations and deviation.”
I say: This is how Nizār recklessly accuses a whole group of Salafis of innovation without sound evidence and without consulting senior scholars. This adds to previous proofs of his following the methodology of the Ḥaddādiyah and Ak͟hassu minal-Ḥaddādiyyah (i.e. worse than the Ḥaddādiyah; as Ibn Hādī was called by S͟hayk͟h Rabīʿ - raḥimahullāh), in addition to his manner of dealing with what S͟hayk͟h Al-Buk͟hārī wrote in his tweets.
Nizār based this act of declarating others as innovators and the act of warning from others on his mistaken perception of the situation in Southern Yemen, and on his misconception that the Mashāyikh of Aden are biased toward the Transition Council.
If we were to ask him for clear evidence for this serious accusation, he could not provide anything except what he and his followers — such as Fawāz — claim. Their strongest argument is that the Mashāyikh of Aden praised the Southern Forces. The truth is that this praise was appropriate in its context and timing, due to the efforts of these Forces in combating the Rāfiḍah and terrorist organizations. This praise was expressed in compliance with the directive of the Deputy Minister of Awqāf and the Director of the Aden Awqāf Office (see link).

The efforts of the Southern Forces; led by the Giants Brigade, in fighting the Rāfiḍah and Al-Qāʿidah are undeniable except by the ignorant or the arrogant. Nizār and his followers caused confusion and misrepresentation regarding the events in Hadramaut.
To clarify: impartial Salafis in Yemen know that this military zone in Hardamaut was not under the Saudi-UAE-led coalition. One of the conditions of the previous Riyadh Agreement was for this force to leave Hadramaut to fight the Houthis. The former governor of Hadramaut (Ibn Māḍī) demanded the removal of the members of this zone, they rebelled against him, attacked Saudi soldiers, killed two of them inside the zone, and then smuggled them to Houthi-controlled areas. This incident and others are well-known facts.
Approximately three years passed since the Riyadh Agreement, and for this reason the coalition did not object to the Southern Forces dismantling this zone. Any Mashāyikh who praised the dismantling of this military zone did so for this reason, up to the time of the event.
Then orders came from the coalition, particularly Saudi Arabia, for these forces to return to Aden after completing their mission, which was dismantling this Houthis- aligned zone. However, these orders were refused, the Salafis had nothing to do with this, then the air force intervened and the forces withdrew from Hadramaut.
Yesterday evening, Abū Zurʿah Al-Muḥramī (commander of the Southern Giants Brigade) traveled to Riyadh and met with the Saudi Minister of Defense, K͟hālid bin Salmān (see link).

As for Nizār, he either does not understand this reality or deliberately spreads confusion and misrepresentation, as his companion Fawāz does. It was incumbent upon him, if he held such suspicions about the Salafis, to remain silent until he verified with the Mashāyik͟h themselves, or to consult senior scholars and benefit from them before issuing such blanket warnings and collective declarations. Here is the text of his blanket declaration: “They are advocates of discord, ignorance, innovations, and deviation!”
From Nizār’s exaggeration in declarating others to be Innovators is: that he insinuates the implication of S͟hayk͟h Al-ʿAllāmah ʿAbdullāh Al-Buk͟hārī and S͟hayk͟h Dr. ‘Arafat, saying: “All this happened and continues under the hearing, sight, support, and assistance of the advocates of Aden and those with them, such as Dr. ‘Arafat bin Ḥasan Al-Muḥammadī residing in Saudi Arabia, and also under the hearing, sight, and observation of Dr. ʿAbdullāh bin ʿAbdir-Raḥīm Al-Buk͟hārī.”
What kind of measure is this, Nizār? What happened to you that you issue such serious accusations and unjust rulings against well-known Salafi callers whose voices resound in defending Salafiyyah and calling to it!? Is it fitting for you to build all this on your poor conjectures and strange assumptions, then implicate these two virtuous scholars? By Allāh, what have you left for the Ḥaddādiyah and the Ak͟hassu minal-Ḥaddādiyah!?
S͟hayk͟h ‘Arafat was truthful when he said in his assessment of Nizār’s writings: “Unfortunately, we asked him for evidence regarding his claim that our S͟hayk͟h ʿAbdullāh Al-Buk͟hārī had full knowledge, but S͟hayk͟h Nizār evaded the question and moved to excessive claims that never took place. We have been patient with his claims and responses for a long time, and unfortunately, I see his responses as weak and feeble. Compare what was written against him during the fitnah of the Mufarriqah (Ibn Hādī) with what he writes today, and when the reason is revealed, astonishment disappears. The writings of our brother Nizār are based on suspicion and ill opinion; we have seen neither knowledge nor useful discussion. Let not the wise laugh at you (your foolishness), nor let the enemies rejoice at you (your mistake). Is this a knowledge-based Salafi methodology!?”
