Indeed, among the most astonishing contradictions, clear to anyone who reflects, is that the slogan "Do not pay attention to lies and rumors" is raised, while at the same time conferences are organized, courses are held, and alliances are formed with one who is known for lying, such that lying has become a fixed trait in him rather than an occasional slip (by this I mean the slanderer, Amjad Rafīq).

What kind of daʿwah is this that is built upon turning a blind eye to lies, yet then demands that people defend "the brothers and the s͟hayk͟hs"? And what scale is this that casts down the truthful while shielding the liars?

Then how is it that today you speak of your statement: "Do not destroy his honour, do not bring down his status, and do not make him despicable in the eyes of people," while you did not question your companion—the one given to slander—when he described those who rightly criticized him (and his initial retraction already proved that the sincere advisers were correct) as liars, traitors, and people of discord?

I will attach images of what Amjad Rafīq spewed forth in his attacks against S͟hayk͟h ʿArafāt and the Salafī brothers.

Was it not you who said: "We will refer the case of Amjad Rafīq to Al-ʿAllāmah Al-Buk͟hārī"? Then the response came to you from the S͟hayk͟h, who said: "Amjad Rafīq Abū ʿIyāḍ will not visit me until he repents from his vile speech against the scholars."

Did you not ask Amjad Rafīq about his erratic behavior in publishing, attacking, insinuating, and failing to return to Al-ʿAllāmah Al-Buk͟hārī, when he stirred the issue of S͟hayk͟h ʿUbayd Al-Jābirī’s fatwā - may Allāh have mercy on him - regarding not tying the daʿwah to two S͟hayk͟hs, which was a word of truth intended for falsehood, and this doubt has already been refuted?

And among the astonishing matters of rejecting the truth and refusing to return to evidence is that it is argued that Amjad Rafīq has 1,200 attendees in a course, and it is said: "Look at their platforms; they have been calling people for 30 years."

Your statement: "We know the opinion of the Salafī S͟hayk͟hs regarding us—Rabīʿ, ʿUbayd Al-Jābirī, Muqbil, An-Najmī, and Zayd Al-Madk͟halī; may Allāh have mercy on them all."

I say—and this is a matter agreed upon—that commendation remains valid and is acted upon so long as a person does not change. Otherwise, many whom the scholars praised did not benefit from those commendations, among them Muḥammad bin Hādī, when he changed from what he was upon.

I see in your constant mention of deceased scholars an evasion of the living ones, due to not referring back to them.

This is not hidden from any intelligent person, even if it is cloaked in a thousand garments, wrapped up, and adorned with the glitter of claims.

Your statement: "It is not permissible to defame them or accuse them of lying." Where, then—may Allāh guide both you and us to the truth—is your stance regarding the latest article that Amjad Rafīq spewed forth against the Salafīs, among them S͟hayk͟h ʿArafāt, may Allāh preserve him?

So by which scale do you judge? And Allāh, the Most High, said:

"O you who believe, stand firmly for Allāh as witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people cause you to depart from justice. Be just; that is closer to piety. And fear Allāh; indeed Allāh is All-Aware of what you do." — Al-Māʾidah: 8

May Allāh send salutations and peace upon our Prophet Muḥammad, and upon his family and companions.
