S͟hayk͟h ʿAbbās Al-Jawnah - ḥafiẓahullāh - was asked:

Question: As-Salāmu ʿAlaykum wa Raḥmaṭullāhi wa Barakātuh.

How are you, our S͟hayk͟h? We ask Allāh that you remain in good health and well-being.

Our noble S͟hayk͟h, here in Britain we have a caller known as Abū ʿIyāḍ. He has attacked S͟hayk͟h ʿArafāt in a written piece of his titled "Lies and Fabrications of Arafāt", and the number of his attacks has exceeded thirty points. Among what he said is the following:

• That his methodology is like that of the Ḥaddādiyyah;
• that it is impossible for him to be truthful at all;
• that he does not possess the qualities or conduct of the people of knowledge;
• and that he is among those whose aim is destruction and division.

So what is your advice, may Allāh preserve you, to the Salafī brothers in Britain regarding this caller? And likewise, what is your advice to the other callers who remain silent about such matters?

May Allāh reward you with good and bless your knowledge and your deeds.

Answer: Wa ʿAlaykumus-Salām wa Raḥmaṭullāhi wa Barakātuh.

This person is like others who launch attacks, attacks that are in fact the attacks of Muḥammad bin Hādī. There is nothing new with these people; they merely repeat and reiterate what Muḥammad bin Hādī said. Muḥammad bin Hādī was demanded to produce proof for his accusations, yet he produced nothing. And S͟hayk͟h Rabīʿ declared Shaykh ʿArafāt to be upright.

And where is Muḥammad bin Hādī today? Is there any news of him? It is as if he never existed. And this caller known as Abū ʿIyāḍ walks upon the path of Muḥammad bin Hādī, and his end will be the end of Muḥammad bin Hādī. There is nothing new in tribulations, mere mouthpieces and the same repeated speech.

So do not pay attention to this so-called individual, to this person. And Allāh is the One Whose help is sought.
